As a photographer I tend to surf the internet to check out what's going on in the photography world.  During a few of my surfing ventures I frequently ran into a beautiful beings.  K.A. just so happens to be one of them.   Coming home from work one day I saw him on the train with his mom.  I know I knew the face, I just didn't remember his name or exactly where I knew his face from.  I mustered up the courage to approach him on the train, with no luck due to me not remembering his name.  I came home and searched the sites I frequent and found him.  We conversed via text and emails for about a month or two and finally had a shoot.  It was definitely a pleasure working with him.  I think he's walking art himself.  I was fortunate to capture it.

Why did you get into modeling?  Initially, to help a photographer friend flush out some ideas she had for projects

How was it to work with JR?  Very easy, laid back, and friendly shoot..

What do you do to keep your body so fit? i wouldn't say i'm fit at this point, just NOT overweight.. good genetics and i usually eat one meal a day, around 6-7 pm.. also i use my bicycle to get everywhere..

Who is your favorite designer(s)? The Levi Jeans company

What type of clothing do you wear? utilitarian clothes that will take a beating at work..

What are you studying/did you study in college? studied Climate/Meteorology/Computer Cartographics

Who is your idol? i have the utmost respect and admiration for anyone who gets up in the morning, goes to a job, whether they like it or not, and works hard and does their job well..

Daniel Noriega

Name: Daniel Noriega

Age: 22

Why did you get into modeling?  I've always been into arts. I was a dancer since elementary school, and eventually developed a passion for acting. I guess once you get involved in that part of the business modeling seems like something you could do. It wasn't easy at first, I'm very shy person and I'm still working on that. However, I kept working with photographers and letting go of my insecurities and developed a great passion for it as well.

How was it to work with JR?  It was probably the most fun I've had in a shoot. It was very professional. He made me feel very comfortable, we kept talking throughout the whole shoot and we both threw ideas around. It's great when you're working with someone who loves what they do, it's contagious and it helps you tremendously. JR's just like that.

What do you do to keep your body so fit?  I eat pizza every day. Haha! Seriously, though. I go to the gym probably 4-5 days a week, depending on my schedule. I do yoga, dance, and walk almost everywhere in the city! I wasn't kidding about the pizza.

Who is your favorite designer(s)?  Hmm... tough one!! I like McQueen's boldness, but I'd have to go with Dolce & Gabbana (I'm rather biased).

What type of clothing do you wear?  I like to be comfortable, lots of v-necks and jeans in my closet! I like to look good, but I almost never sacrifice comfort for style. I love H&M, Topman, Urban Outfitters... you get the picture.

What are you studying in college? Acting

Who is your idol?  Mariah Carey. She's been through a lot. She's been up and down, but she's never stopped. Whenever I'm going through rough times I listen to "Can't take that away (Mariah's theme)" and it brings me peace. Cheesy, I know. Plus, I have a weakness for high notes, and she's the queen!

Your favorite famous model?  Raina Hein. I don't know how well known or unknown she may be, but that girl is perfect. I should have a favorite male model... damn.

Favorite TV shows:  South Park, Family guy, 30 Rock, ANTM.

Thoughts on nudity:  I love nudity. I feel freer whenever I shoot nude. It used to make me feel very self-conscious, but the human body is a beautiful thing. Of course there could be a fine line between artistic and vulgar, but I like to be a "go there" person. At the end of the shoot I feel empowered. Some people have asked me if I'm worried about taking nude pictures and then making it in the business as an actor, to which i reply by saying that I love my body and there's nothing wrong with nudity, it's simply natural.
